The story revolves around an unexpected encounter between a human and an elf, which took place after he rescued her from a trap in a cursed forest. According to the ancient Elven codex of honor, which applies to all elves regardless of status or gender, the one who was saved must save the life of their savior in return when the time comes. This is not a gesture of submission, but a deeply rooted rule of mutual respect that maintains balance and dignity in their society. But the problem is that the clumsy elf, raised with strict but theoretical ideas about the codex, does not know how to implement it in real life. Her intentions are sincere, but every attempt to help only creates new misunderstandings. Meanwhile, the man, a simple builder who is used to helping others but not accepting help himself, wants to find a way to “close” this debt as soon as possible in order to avoid further complications, and because he does not like the idea of the codex. Together, trying to get out of this strange situation, they run into even bigger problems that refuse to leave them alone. It seems that the peace the man dreams of will never come again.

Orin is a simple but dedicated man who has devoted his life to helping others. Despite his kindness, sincerity and willingness to help, he remains a loner. He has only two close friends: old Frank, who seems to know more about this world than he lets on, and Keld, a simple man with his own problems. Everyone in the village knows Orin and appreciates his work, but for some reason he won't let anyone near him. Is it his own choice, or the consequences of something he'd rather not say?
Liraine is a young elf who feels alienated from her people because she is very bad at elven magic and quite clumsy. For elves, this is a rare, even shameful trait, and Liraine often doubts her worth. She's kind, sincere and eager to help, but her naivety often gets her into difficult situations. She knows more about nature and animals than about codes and rules, she doesn't know much about the latter, but she is determined and reliable, and wants to learn more. She always feels that she is useless, so she tries very hard not to appear that way. The world of people is foreign and incomprehensible to her, but maybe it's there that she'll find something she's been missing all her life?
In their world, there are ten countries, each with its own history, culture and leaders. However, the main problem of this world is the division between the races. Humans, elves, dwarves, vampires and other peoples rarely trust each other and, for this reason, most states are centered on one dominant race.
There was a time when the races lived more peacefully, but many wars, betrayals and deep-seated differences of opinion led to tensions that persist to this day. Some countries try to remain neutral, while others engage in a secret struggle for power. In this world, everyone is forced to make a choice: stay within their own nation, or take a chance and find their own way in a world where trust is the greatest deficit.
The project has many exciting stages! The main novel will consist of seven major chapters, each of which will reveal new facets of the world and the characters. Once the novel is complete, we also plan to publish a comic book adaptation that will transpose the story into a graphic format to give a new perspective to events. In the longer term, we have the idea of creating an anime adaptation that will bring this world to the screen. However, the story is currently at the novel-writing stage, and this is still the first step towards a larger-scale development of the project.
You can always join the community on Discord. It's a small community, but I thought you might find it interesting! Here you can discuss and pitch your art and ideas, and we're always welcoming new people!
We hope to release it in 2025, but it's going to take a long time, and it's very likely to be released in English first, which will take a long time to translate.
Actually, there is a drawing, but I haven't asked an artist to paint it yet. And I don't want to show any sketches that I did myself.
Unfortunately, this is not possible directly. BUT, most likely, in the Discord community, I'll let a few people read the first chapter to get your feedback and understand if you're interested or if something needs to be changed.
You'll find out all about that later in the story!
